I want to use games as a means of expression. I want to tell a story, send a message. Many indie devs focus on novel game mechanics, and that’s fine. But that’s not what I will do.
To that end, I will use gameplay as a storytelling tool. My games will have some meaning behind them, but vague enough so players can come to their own conclusion. I want my work to provoke thought and discussion, but in a fun and lighthearted way. That’s a tall order, but I’m willing to try.
